An ethical application of persuasive skills lets you achieve unmatched results. Whether you need to convince clients to sign a contract, garner support for a proposal, or win new business in competitive bids, persuasive skills are the driving force that will help you accomplish your goals.

In this fast-paced 1-day workshop we go “inside” the persuasive mindset in an attempt to understand how and why it works. We focus on the successful techniques that Leaders use to design compelling messages and explore why some messages are more influential than others.

Who should attend:

This 1-day Leadership workshop is designed for managers who want to strengthen their leadership and communication skills to meet strategic goals. This is also suitable for non-leaders who have been identified as having high potential.

- Communication techniques

Please note this is one of a series of Leadership workshops that have been designed specifically not only to teach participants new skills but also help them apply those learnings in order to overcome any challenges facing them in the workplace, this means that the places available are restricted in order to allow the participants to receive more individual attention, the workshop will be held at a venue outside of the CBD and away from distractions and finally after the workshop all participants will receive a free coaching session. This approach ensures that the participants have a leadership workshop far more effective than they have experienced previously

About the Facilitator:

Mark Wager is a Leadership Coach at the Australasian Leadership Institute with over thirty years of managerial experience across a range of industries. A former Broker Sales Manager with a London Finance House and a National Manager for the Ministry of Justice Mark specialises in working with Leaders helping them overcome the barriers, both technical and mental standing between themselves and success.

A strong believer in taking complex leadership & psychological theories and making them accessible to people regardless of their background, education or industry Mark has helped develop Leaders from some of New Zealand’s leading organisations such as Fisher & Paykel, Heartland Bank, NZRL, NZ Netball, NZ Soccer, NZ Basketball, Amnesty Int, Barnardos, Oxfam, Red Cross and many more.
