The infamous tour date that never happened… with COVID-19 restrictions easing up, James Hunter and The Gatherers are picking up where they left off, and completing their debut tour (Almost Summer Tour, Oct 2021) in Auckland with local Indie-pop band, Marmalade.

With an extremely limited capacity of 50-100 tickets (dependant on government restrictions,) this is a show that you do not want to miss!

*Please note the show are R18 as we are playing in licensed venues.

*As of the time being, Wine Cellar will be requiring and checking vaccination certificates on entry. If this changes, updates will be made.

ARTIST BIOS:

James Hunter is an alternative-folk musician based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Drawing from musical influences such as Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver and Jeff Buckley, Hunter creates songs with lyrical narratives that look into his own vulnerable experiences of love, fear, faith, joy and pain.

Sit for a while and open yourself up to listen and to feel.

James Hunter performs with His live band, The Gatherers. The four-piece consists of Hunter on Lead Vocals/Guitar, Taylar Mallo on Bass/Guitar, Emerson McCullough on Drums and Maxime Calderbank on Backing vocals/Guitar.

Marmalade
We’re a group of friends from Tamaki Makaurau here to pour music flavoured marmalade on your perfectly toasted toast. Go chuck your favourite yellow T-shirt in the wash and have it ready to boogie with us on the 22nd of April! Bound to make your winter cosy and summer even sunnier with florescent lyrics backed by an even brighter band.
