Jaz Paterson

Jaz Paterson is an alternative pop artist based in Christchurch. She has been a semi-finalist in the international songwriting competition and finalist in the Olympic songwriting competition. Recent highlights for Jaz have included performing at NY Edge Fest 2021, which garnered a crowd of 20,000. Her collaboration "Horizon" with producer Shli has been added to local radio playlists. Jaz has been involved in artist development with SOLE music academy. Working with producer Will McGillivray, Jaz has created her latest EP which blends RnB-style vocals with electronic beats. Jaz's vocal style is similar to Banks and Tove Lo, and she is inspired by artists such as Lorde and James Blake. She enjoys mixing electronic pop sounds with live instruments. Upcoming collaborations to be released soon include tracks created with hip-hop, dnb, and pop artists.
