Jocelyn Evans: an artistic record of Lawrence in the 1970s

In 1970 Jocelyn Evan's moved to Lawrence when her husband became bank manager at the local Bank of New Zealand. During this time Jocelyn joined the Lawrence Art Group and began painting the surrounding landscapes. Through her art Jocelyn created a stunning visual record of Lawrence, as it was in the 1970s.

The Museum is thrilled to be offering this solo exhibition of Jocelyn's work in what would have been her 100th year.
