Beloved New Zealand author and Featherston resident, Joy Cowley, has two new books to share with the world. Joy will be releasing her new novella ‘Blind Date’ - a mature love story for adult readers and children’s book “Greedy Cat’s Christmas,’ the latest in her celebrated and long-running Greedy Cat series.
‘Greedy Cat’s Christmas’ is perfectly timed for the Christmas season and is the latest adventure for the titular cat who is sure to get up to some mischief once more.

Joy will launch Greedy Cat's Christmas at the start of this event and will read to the children before launching her novella, 'Blind Date'.
‘Blind Date’ tells the story of Rose Gillander, twice-widowed, vision impaired, and living in a rest home. When Rose reluctantly accepts a ticket to a concert, she has an encounter that comes to show her that “living life to the full, it turns out, depends neither on age nor on the sharpness of one’s sight.”
