Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera’s art practice evolved at a pivotal time in Mexican history, when the nation sought to redefine itself through political, cultural, and social reforms. Join us for an illustrated talk by curator Julia Waite as she explores the dynamic and complex networks between art, people and place in modern Mexico.

Please register your place at one of the times to avoid disappointment.

These talks are free and do not include an entry into Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera: Art and Life in Modern Mexico. Tickets to the exhibition can be purchased at https://aucklandartgallery-premier.eventfinda.co.nz/2022/frida-kahlo-and-diego-rivera-art-and-life-in-modern-mexico/auckland
