Fresh off the stage supporting L.A.B, Mara TK brings his pyschedelic rock-infused soul beats to Māoriland.
In 2021 Mara TK released his widely acclaimed solo album “Bad Meditation.” Inspired by Parliament, Funkadelic, Marvin Gaye, Jimi Hendrix and D’Angelo, as well as Māori composer and singer Hirini Melbourne.
Ria Hall calls him a “multi-talented enigma”. Teeks believes he exudes “the purest expression of soul”.
Award-winning rapper Tom Scott goes one further, calling him “our Prince”.
