Set in the picturesque rural town of Milton the town frequently turns on the good weather by the lunch time.

The venue is in the Historic Coronation Hall which is in the center of the town along Union Street the main street of Milton. It is a stone's throw from the Cafes and Tinys a traditional Butcher shop. So you can see the show and grab a coffee and some eats at the same time.

The Milton Poultry Show attracts exhibitors from all over the South Island with Classes that include include Old English Game, Heavy and Light breeds of fowl, Game bantams, Fancy bantams, Fancy and Flown pigeons.

In the cage birds there are Canaries, British birds, Budgerigars. If you look at their particular shapes, colors, patterning and plumage, and every bird is unique. They've each got an enduring appeal and fascination for attendees and for exhibitors.

There will be numerous South Island Championships Prizes and trophies available for lucky exhibitors.

These will be judged on the Saturday morning by a team of experts from around the country who dedicate their time to sort out the winners from the losers. However its not all about that. There is an excellent atmosphere and a good chance to catch up and swap stories and tales

COVID – we will take precautions according to the situation and government advice. Restrictions have eased (vaccine passes no longer required) but please take our more vulnerable members and guests into consideration. Masks encouraged

Remember the show finishes on Sunday afternoon It's going to be quite an event.
