Bad Gin Sanctuary

Bad Gin Sanctuary presents a huge night of three acts!
Mini Simmons,
Adam Hattaway & The Haunters
Michael Llewellyn & The Darlings

Over the past two years, Mini Simmons have established themselves firmly as one of the premier live acts in the NZ music scene, gracing the stages of Rhythm & Vines, Splore, Sound Splash, Nest Fest and Outfield. 2019 saw Mini Simmons release their debut, self-titled Album to critical acclaim, with internationally renowned ‘Classic Rock Magazine’ praising the “sunkissed bath of gorgeous harmonies” on their lead single ‘A Way With Murder’.

Adam Hattaway and the Haunters are initiating a new generation into the temple of alt
rock’n’roll. As a seasoned touring band with three studio albums, A.H. explore personal themes while weaving in universal motifs - star crossed lovers, losers, and lonesome travellers.

Forever shaking hands with heartache, Adam Hattaway lives close to the bone. From his home in Otautahi/Christchurch, he has earned an international reputation for sweltering hooks, high kicks, and raw, emotional narrative. A born frontman, he deftly marries 60’s swagger with 21st-century sensitivity.

With their third album, ‘Woolston, Texas’, the band found their sound. Now, ahead of a fourth studio release, ‘Rooster’ (out November 19) here is a band that has been through the tunnel and done the work. Here is a band that is letting it all hang out.

Soft and raspy, poetic and bouncy, 'Michael Llewellyn,' with his backing band the 'Darlings', are a Wellington-based band contrived primarily from butterscotch and smoke.

Inspired by the likes of Lou Reed and Leonard Cohen his music is vulnerable and honest. Carried by an infectious groove, crunchy guitars and gritty vocals, Michael Llewellyn along with his five-piece backing band packs a punch!

Doors 8pm.

You will need to show your vaccine pass on entry. This event will follow all COVID restrictions and guidelines.
