Nan and Tuna have been friends for 80 years and now it is time for one last adventure together. But before they leave they will need to find someone to care for the river.
A bilingual puppet show about eels, rivers and friendship presented by String Bean Puppets as part of the Beyond the Page Festival 2022.

String Bean Puppets is a Wellington puppet company dedicated to sharing the wonder and magic of puppetry. Anna is a travelling puppeteer and as well as performing locally in a variety of settings she has travelled extensively overseas to Street Theatre Festivals, Puppet festivals, Children’s Theatre Festivals and Fringe Festivals.
Anna performs intimate and lyrical string puppet shows, raucous slapstick Pulcinella shows, interactive walkabout characters and mobile puppet shows.
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the start of this event. Late arrivals may be admitted on a case-by-case basis.
