The Northland Edible Garden Trail is on between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 February 2022. There are gardens in Kerikeri, Waipapa, Motatau, Parua Bay, Hikurangi, Glenbervie, Onerahi, Mangatepere and central Whangarei.
This is a not-for-profit event to share ideas and inspiration for growing healthy sustainable foods at home. Come and meet the gardeners and see examples of edible gardens that will give you ideas and inspiration for your own home.
The cost is $2 per person, per garden to be paid to the garden owner as acknowledgement to them opening up their property for the trail.
Not all gardens are open the whole weekend - please go to the website for details on garden specific workshops, opening times and Covid-19 requirements.
