Get your PJs on and your torches and teddies out! The kids might be on holiday but the crazy characters at Otago Museum are still here waiting for you. So get ready to head to outer space and explore Otago Museum’s galleries by night.
Uncover stories and juicy facts about some of the most interesting items in our collection, take part in a science experiment, make and fly your own rocket, or party at our astro-disco! With surprises, challenges, games, crafts, and science experiments tucked around every corner, journey around our galleries like never before.
The Café and Shop will be open for snacks and shopping, and there will be spot prizes for all sorts of things, including the best pyjamas—even the adult ones!
Please note:
The Pyjamarama is suitable for children aged 3 – 12 and adults must accompany them.
Balloons, Fairy Floss and Popcorn are paid and cash only.
Make sure to add on a FREE ticket to the Tuhura Space Tour in our Planetarium and take a trip to outer space!
