Queen Elizabeth Park is one of our most popular parks in the region and this is the day to come and explore all that is on offer. Come on an adventure with your whānau, starting with a scavenger hunt that will walk you through the best parts of the park. Bring your bike to ride Te Ara o Whareroa track, jump on the bouncy castles, or have your face painted. Come and check out the Wellington Tramway Museum and get a discounted ride on one of the vintage Wellington trams. Meet the Paekākāriki Surf Lifeguards or watch the Kāpiti Aeromodellers Club fly their model planes through the sky. We’ll also have Kāpiti Stables on-site offering horse rides.
