RubUrban - Urban Printaking

Free School Holiday Workshop for all ages. Rubbing is an accessible form of printmaking! Join us to collect some urban prints from around the Waitakere arts centre using the technique of rubbing. Grab your rubbing kit then find things in and around the art centre to rub! Next make a collagraph from interesting off cuts, bits and bobs and recycled cardboard which you can then rub as well. Then we will have a pop up exhibition before you take your rubbings home. Rubbings will also be photographed tp be shared with others in a zine format. Get in touch with the local environment!
