Does the time of day bring out different capacities of our human spirit? Tui-winning jazz bassist Umar Zakaria presents the Sun Song Suites, four concerts exploring the human construction of time through our relationship with the sun.

Umar Zakaria presents this innovative experience alongside Ruby Solly (Kai Tahu, Kāti Māmoe, Waitaha) (cello, taonga pūoro), Tristan Carter (violin), Duncan Haynes (piano) and Luther Hunt (drums).

After rave reviews at its premiere at Wellington Jazz Festival 2021, join Umar at The Boathouse as the day comes and goes.
