Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It's Super Duper Girl and The Ladderman, here to save the day with stupendous stunts, amazing escapes and arbitrary alliteration!
This family show is packed with superhero-themed circus and magic for all ages.
Rollicking Entertainment Ltd was founded by David Ladderman and Lizzie Tollemache. The duo are theatre makers, circus artists and variety entertainers who produce and tour original work to festivals and theatres throughout Aotearoa and across nine countries (and counting).
Using circus, illusion and sideshow to make theatre which tells New Zealand stories, their original shows include Mr and Mrs Alexander and The Dunstan Creek Seance for adults, outdoor Summer Theatre productions of King Arthur and Treasure Island for families, and The Messy Magic Adventure and Kitchen Chaos for kids of all ages.
Back in the south after a long hiatus, they are fizzing at the bung to catch up with show friends old and new.
