Parson James, Maimoa, The Modern Maori Quartet and The Harmonic Resonators are joining this years line up of hot international, national and local talent.
Parson James is an American singer and songwriter who is making a special trip New Zealand to be part of our Matariki celebrations. He is best known for his single "Stole the Show", with Norwegian producer Kygo. He is also widely renowned in Aotearoa for "Tennessee Whiskey" a collaboration with Stan Walker.
Maimoa –are arguably the most important music collective in Aotearoa – a collection of young Māori artists with a kaupapa to benefit and develop te reo Māori, consciously creating positive footprints for the next generation to continue their legacy of Waiata Māori.
Modern Māori Quartet - Take 4 good looking, hip swaying, suave Maori guys crooning a mix of modern day & classic songs in Te Reo and English and you get: The Modern Māori Quartet (MMQ).
Fireworks Display - To round off the concert there will be an impressive fireworks display not to be missed.
