Teddy Bear's Picnic

There'll be fun for kids of all ages, with everything from storytelling, performance, bubbles, a free sausage sizzle, food vendors, face painting, colouring-in, magical creatures, life-sized bears, sports and games, a bouncy castle, dress-ups, books and much, much more.

So bring your favourite, most loved Teddy Bear and a picnic and come on down.

Hosted by QLDC, the Teddy Bears Picnic in both Wānaka and Queenstown will showcase the best children's entertainment our community has to offer.

Both events are free to attend. Koha donations to Plunket welcome.

Please note: this event will be held in accordance with Government's guidance on the COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic light system). A vaccine pass will be required for entry.

Summerdaze is a collection of events we'll be running for the summer months from December 2021 to April 2022 throughout our community, encouraging residents and visitors to enjoy the outdoors, celebrate their neighbourhood and spend time with one another.
