We have decided to switch things up for the upcoming Winter 2022 Mākete. This time around, we will be celebrating Matariki (the Māori new year) with a night market held at a brand new venue!: Milton St Substation.
We are excited to offer the following:
- A gorgeous light show throughout the venue
- A chance to support Māori artists and craftspeople, as well as over 70 local stallholders
- A bar offering alcoholic (18+) and non-alcoholic beverages
- Food trucks
- A look through a newly refurbished historical building, special to Christchurch
- + much more!
We will also be donating to a Māori charity, so we can give back to the community on this special day (more info on this to come)
