Greytown School will be hosting the inaugural Great Greytown School Art Auction this July. This is your chance to purchase some new art from renowned local artists you may already know, and also some emerging artists you should know. No more plain white walls and empty display cases around the home! There will be a great variety of art, including ceramics, paintings, photography and sculpture.

The art will be available to view in the school hall on Friday 1st July from 1pm - 5pm, and at the event on Saturday evening, 2nd July.

Full catalogue now available on the Festival of Christmas website - key info page (www.greytownvillage.co.nz) or through the Greytown Village Facebook page. Silent bids and pre-bids will be accepted before the event. Please email npreston@greytown.school.nz for more details on how to pre-bid after the 17th of June.

The main event:
On Saturday night Greytown School will be hosting an evening at the school hall from 6pm – 9pm. A social event of live music from local duo Noble Echo, canapés and drinks. The Saturday evening event will be ticketed. As part of your ticket will get you a glass of beer/wine or juice and canapés throughout the evening. Additional drinks will be available for purchase.

Whether you are bidding for artwork or not, we encourage you to come along and join the fun.

By purchasing the art you will be donating to Greytown School, where the funds raised will go toward building the new junior and senior playgrounds.

Greytown School is filled with budding young artists. There will be an exhibition of the kids artwork on the night too. There will be a chance to purchase these artworks by donation/koha too.
