So what’s the show about?
After fleeing Scotland, Ryan McGhee plonked his fabulous gay ass in New Zealand 3 years ago. Ryan thinks of himself as “born and fled” - while he’s fiercely patriotic as a Scotsman, he’d never bloody live there! Ryan will be sharing his take on the cultures of Scotland, Aotearoa, and the gay scene. Oh and his ongoing search for love… from apps to matchmakers to reality dating shows…it continues to be so bad you have to laugh!
Ryan recently won “Best Newcomer” at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards (2021).
Ryan will be joined by Taylor Ruddle. An introverted man-child who only leaves the sanctity of home in search of pizza or to perform stand-up comedy. He has a friendly, relaxed delivery, and performs a mix of storytelling, one liners, and satire.
Taylor was nominated for “Breakout Comedian, South Island” at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards (2021).
