Register to take part in the 2022 Web Genius Kāpiti Run for Youth GONE VIRTUAL anytime between Sun 27 Mar and by Sun 10 Apr to raise funds and fitness for Kāpiti rangatahi youth while having fun strolling or running along the beautiful Kāpiti coastline.

COVID-19 Red/Whero
At 11.59pm on Fri 25 Mar limits on outdoor events are removed and QR code scanning is not required yet vaccine passes are required until 4 Apr. The Red traffic light will also be reviewed at that time. Kāpiti Run for Youth has made the decision to continue with GONE VIRTUAL due to vaccine passes still being needed for a while longer. We also believe the mindset of participants and our event planning for Virtual delivery is in-place. By staying Virtual we can continue to be inclusive so the vaccinated and those that are not, can complete the event in their own time and with who they choose.

There will be a photo board positioned in the Dell at Maclean Park opposite Café Lane on Marine Parade. We ask that you take your photo and post it to a pinned post on our Facebook page once you have completed the 6km or 12km walk or run. Set-up an online profile on the KR4Y website and to either sponsor yourself or seek others to sponsor you. Sponsorship will be open until 24 Apr with the aim of making payment to Fundraising Partners late Apr/early May along with distributing donated prizes.

If it’s been three months since your second dose, get boosted for you, your whānau, your community, and please don’t attend if you have if you are feeling unwell or are a close contact of someone isolating. Let’s start learning to live with Omicron in a safe and positive way.

We are a family-friendly event – baby buggies and crowd-friendly dogs on leads are welcome. Take your sunhat, sunscreen and water on the day. There are sponsored prizes, treats for the kids, certificates for everyone participating. Go to the website to register or sponsor someone that you know who is participating – all registrations and sponsorship are handled securely and confidentially on the KR4Y website. $175K has been raised since inception in 2011.
