The seven jazz aviators return to their very first haunt, which was the Great Hall where the squadron first formed, and took to the air. Witness daring musical acrobatics and lush formation flying, featuring the soaring vocals of Kate Taylor, powerhouse horn playing from Scott Taitoko, Cam Pearce, and Gwyn Reynolds, and high octane rhythms from Tom Rainey, Mike Story, and Luke Smillie. The performance will include beautiful fresh jazz and contemporary arrangements.
This concert is part of the Great Hall Lunchtime Concert Series 2022, showcasing a remarkable line-up of renowned local, national and international artists performing in a beautiful heritage venue.
