New Zealand, 1965. Beau and his crew of hearty kiwi lumberjacks have been tasked with clearing their last section of forest before knocking off for Christmas. Accidentally stumbling upon a giant ancient Kauri tree on their site, the group is split about whether to cut it down. To make matters worse, a clan of tree-hugging hippies have taken up refuge within the canopy and surrounding forest of the tree, hoping to protect it from its demise. With a council representative breathing down their necks, and the local Forest Ranger keeping a watchful eye over the area, things quickly escalate.
A fun-filled kiwi comedy, packed with hilarious one liners, the odd tear-jerker, along with more than enough song and dances to shake a stick at, "Timber" is not to be missed.
