August’s edition of the Otago Settlers Association’s Tuesday Club welcomes Ted Daniels, a local jeweller who is passionate about preserving Dunedin’s historic buildings.
Ted and his wife Ita immigrated from the Netherlands in the 1980s and fell in love with Dunedin’s Victorian and Edwardian architecture. So much so, that they’ve been restoring some of these wonderful buildings in and around the Vogel Street precinct. Their latest project saw a brand new apartment built on top of the restored Standard Building, just off Queens Gardens. Join Ted as he discusses the buildings he has restored and what makes them so special.
This event begins with refreshments and an opportunity to chat with Otago Settlers Association members.
