Walking Stars Auckland

Join Cancer Society's Walking Stars and be part of Auckland's brightest night walk! Walking Stars is a night-time fundraising event with participants walking a half marathon or a 12km loop through Auckland City. Walking Stars brings people together in a fun, vibrant environment to raise vital funds in support of local people living with cancer.

Walking Stars is non-competitive; there is no timing or award for the fastest walker. The focus is on the personal challenge and fundraising for a great cause. Dress bright and experience the city vibe at night at this one-of-a-kind event.

Every day, 71 New Zealanders hear the devastating words ‘you have cancer’. When you fundraise through Walking Stars, you will help local people living with cancer to receive nursing, accommodation and transport services and ensure that no one goes through cancer alone. Additionally, you will also be funding life-saving cancer prevention and treatment research in Aotearoa.
