Being creative is fun, and when you are having fun, you are positively impacting your health.
We know that beneficial effects happen during the creative process. It’s true that dopamine is released and that can help relieves stress.
Break the routine and take time to do something you enjoy.
Painting outside, on location working from real life. Feel the breeze, smell the salt air, listen to the waves.
Now that sounds fun right? What a wonderful way to learn.
Learning how to work with watercolour can seem intimidating, but like most things, once you learn some basics and negotiate the traps you will enjoy it. Soon you will find yourself working with this weird and wonderful medium that challenges so many.
These workshops are an excellent opportunity to learn watercolours. Weather permitting, we will work outside as much as possible.
We currently have three watercolour workshops running now until Dec. 2022
Tuesday afternoons from 1pm to 3:30
Tuesday evenings from 5:30pm to 7:30pm
And Fridays half day or all day: 10:00am to 12:30 and 1:00 to 3:30pm.
Each workshop day is listed on Eventfinda as a separate event. Find the days that will suit you.
Prior experience is not required. Our classes are for everyone with an open mind, positive attitude, and willingness to laugh a little while learning.
Located on Wellington’s stunning south coast overlooking Cook Strait, our studio accommodates up to 12 people per session so it’s a social but not crowded affair.
We also host exhibitions, and our studio is available for private events and self-run workshops.
