Join Watercolours for Beginners and learn how to paint and explore the magic of watercolours.

Watercolours can be one of the most rewarding paint mediums when you get the hang of it! At first it can be unpredictable but with the help of our award-winning tutor Elise De Silva, you will start your new painting journey with confidence.

In this class you will learn about composition, improve your overall drawing skills but also learn everything specific to watercolours.
You will paint clean washes, blend, layer! Elise will teach you how to use your paint brushes efficiently and effectively, turn your photo into a painting and learn the watercolour lingo like a pro. “Wet on wet” “dry on wet” and “dry brush” these terminologies will have no secret for you and, more importantly, you will know when to use what.

In this beginner class, you will paint an array of subjects like: skies, seas, flowers, still life, landscapes and birds.

WHY IS THIS CLASS PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS?
Elise will be teaching you the fundamental techniques of watercolours. She breaks painting down into step by step processes.
Elise also has lots of knowledge and experience to share with others who have worked with watercolours before.
The atmosphere in the class is relaxed and fun, a safe place to learn, make mistakes and improve.
