We will refresh and extend your technical knowledge of watercolour materials and techniques. Each week there will be a practice exercise followed by a full painting. You will be guided through the steps to produce a painting on landscape, fruit, reflections and architecture.
All materials included in course fee.
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
produce a clean even wash
use a variety of edges in your paintings
use wet into wet techniques in each painting
learn to paint reflections
achieve spatial depth and perspective in your paintings
Suitable for students who have experience with watercolour painting
Charlotte uses a camera with overhead projector for easy to follow demonstrating and social distancing
Note: Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel. We'll let you know by email so please check yours regularly. For those who have completed a "Watercolour Basics" course or equivalent.
