We regret to advise that Wings of Cuba concerts have been canceled.
Drawing upon their experience as members of some of Cuba’s biggest and most prestigious salsa orchestras, percussionist Yunior Maden (Havana, Cuba) is joined by multi-instrumentalist Angel Manuel Guilarte (Santiago, Cuba) and jazz pianist Duncan Haynes, for a night of Afro Cuban music.
Presented in conjunction with Wellington Jazz Cooperative, this intimate concert will showcase the trio performing a combination of original compositions and adapted versions of legendary Cuban music: fusing jazz, Spanish, African and Caribbean rhythms along with their very own personal style and groove.
Lovebite is an intimate venue with some seating with restricted viewing of the band.
Doors open at 6.30pm with the band starting at 7.30pm. It is recommended that you arrive early to secure a seat.
