Women's Only Day Hike: Kaniwhaniwha - Kahihatea Tree Track

Hike the Kaniwhaniwha: Kahikatea TreeTrack in Pirongia Forest Park that takes you to the tallest native tree in New Zealand.

On the way walk through the Kaniwhanwha caves (optional) and learn about the ecology and history of the Bush with your local guide. Along the way we will also teach you essential navigation and bush skills that will keep you safe and help you plan for future tramps.

We will finish the day with a cup of tea and cake at the Kaniwhanwha reserve, as we debrief and reflect on our day.

Sunday 18th September Start time 8.30am. 6 hour return trip.

Starts at the Kaniwhanwha Reserve on Limeworks Loop Road, Te Pahu. $60 per person includes your guide, skills training and afternoon tea on completion of the hike.

Women only. Moderate fitness required.
