This practical, engaging programme will teach you everything you need to know to craft a catchy pop song...

The course will focus on song structure, chord structure, melody and lyric writing. You’ll learn beat-making basics and sample arrangement through Sound Trap, an app that allows you to make music and audio recordings anywhere.

If you’ve already written songs, you will have the opportunity to get feedback on them (optional).

The aim of the programme is to come away with one written song.

“It makes me feel like I belong. It also makes me feel happy. I feel more honest, able to express my feelings. I feel more confident that I can pursue music.”

“It’s a great opportunity to build confidence and it’s so much fun.”

Student feedback

“Friendly, diverse, encouraging.”

“Beyond our expectations.”

“It gave my daughter inspiration and tools for her songwriting.”
