Conservation week-Action for nature 2023

Help us celebrate Conservation week 2023 with a daily 1pm informative talk by one of our DOC rangers. Learn all about Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park and discover its history and find out what amazing birds call this area home. Find out how glaciers form and how they transform the landscape over thousands of years. Learn what you can do to play your part in the conservation battle, every small action can lead to huge results. There will also be a colouring competition for the young ones, and an all-age photo competition...Prizes to be won!! All these activities will be held at our world class visitor centre. While you are in the park take a pleasant walk down the Hooker valley track or spend some time in Governor's bush while you listen to the birds.
