The Future of Work is...now!
Yes, the Future of Work conference for Marlborough students is back for 2023!
Marlborough students are invited to join us for some incredible inspiring speakers and an "Interactive Workstation Zone". Speakers include: Jazz Thornton, Stanley Henry, Riki Welsh, Te Wehi Wright and Lucy Blakiston. And with over 40 industries and 80+ businesses in the Interactive Workstation Zone you'll be sure to open your eyes to new opportunities and career pathways! (Tickets for the day session are being coordinated by the colleges and schools. Ask your school for more information).
Then, from 5.00-7.00pm, we warmly invite all Year 7-13 students and their whānau to come along, experience the Interactive Workstation Zone and connect with tertiary providers – including all New Zealand universities. There will be a short presentation by the universities starting at 5.30pm sharp, followed by the opportunity to ask questions and get information about their courses, hostels etc.
Please note that this replaces the combined Colleges “Career Expo” which is usually held at this time.
Come along and experience dozens of Interactive Workstations, and discover jobs and opportunities you have never heard of before. Don’t miss out!
The Future of Work is brought to by the Graeme Dingle Foundation Marlborough and Marlborough District Council.
The event is able to be made free to all students with additional funding support from the Rātā Foundation, Lotteries Community Fund, and OneFortyOne.
