Make your own felt fungi friend.

In this beginner friendly workshop, you will learn everything you need to know to begin needle felting, by making a cute potted mushroom of pure New Zealand wool. We’ll even pot it in some wool “soil” in a little terracotta pot!

Sculpting by stabbing, using wool as the medium and special needles with barbs on the end of the tool. Felt is created as the barbs of the needle tangle and compact the scales of fibre with repeated jabs and pokes.

No felting (or gardening) experience is necessary. All materials and tools are included. You will leave with your one-of-a-kind wool felted project and the skills to continue sculpting at home.

This workshop is not suitable for children, as we will use very sharp tools - adults only workshop.
