Improv Comedy 101 - New Plymouth
291 Frankley Road, New Plymouth, TaranakiRestrictions
Listed by
This is a 6-week introduction to the art of improvised comedy. Improv is different to stand-up comedy; you’re not alone and you don't tell jokes. It’s about working as a team with other players to create spontaneous group stories and scenes. It is a positive form of comedy and it helps you to develop and flex your creativity, collaboration and communication while enhancing your presence of mind. The skills that are gained are highly transferable for success in personal, social and career pursuits.
Improv 101 is perfect for complete beginners or those with some improv experience. You don’t need drama, acting or comedy experience to take part. The classes are low-pressure, held in a safe environment and are designed to allow participants to self-explore.
This is a 6 week course held on Wednesday evenings (last class on the 29th of March) - your registration is for the full course.
