Learn how to sketch anything from life, including still life, landscapes or your own choice, in this 6 week course, with experienced tutor and artist Nancy McLennan Hughes. You will learn basic measurement techniques to accurately represent the proportions of your subject. You will also learn how to develop a drawing from your photo of choice, using shading techniques in pencil, charcoal, soft pastels and other media. Techniques in this workshop are invaluable to any artist.

Materials provided. All students agree to comply with DWEA terms and conditions, and to comply with any SDCN Covid policies if these are required at the time of this class.
The cost is $80 for the 6 week course. Please note that this is due at least 7 days before the start date of your class. This is payable by credit card via Paypal or internet banking. If you are enrolling less than 7 days before the class starts, please pay immediately.

If you have a Community Services Card, the fee is reduced by 50% to $40. In this case, please email your name, address and phone number to dunedinwea@gmail.com stating which course you want to enrol in, including a photo or scan of your Community Services Card. We will enrol you and you can then pay the discounted price by internet banking.
