IMPORTANT UPDATE! We regret to inform you that, due to visa complications, Marina Elenskya is no longer able to present her public talk during Nelson Jewellery Week. Objectspace and NJW were so looking forward to making this connection with Marina and are disappointed we can no longer deliver this event.
Objectspace will be presenting a panel discussion considering the potential and challenges of jewellery exhibition making in Aotearoa: chaired by deputy director Zoe Black (Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Hine, Pākehā) and featuring Jade Townsend (Ngāti Kahungunu, Te Ātihaunui-a-Pāpārangi), artist and co-director of Season, Jennifer Laracy, artist and co-founder of The Jewel and the Jeweller, and Justine Olsen, Curator Decorative Art and Design at Te Papa Tongarewa.
This panel is scheduled for the same time of 11:00am on Sunday 16 April in the Johnny Cash Room, G Block, Te Pūkenga/NMIT, 57 Nile Street, Nelson.
