About the teacher

Tracy Allan has been practising and teaching tai chi for almost 20 years. She has been teaching a regular class at the Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village for four years. With an ‘Introduction to Resistance Training Certificate’ gained in the United Kingdom in 2014 Tracy draws on a range of experiences from Buddhist meditation retreats in the United Kingdom and in Nelson, and a silent yoga retreat in Rishikesh, North India.

"Our class is four years old and in this time we have improved in flexibility, strength, balance, and well-being. Our teacher Tracy provides an excellent calm environment with instructions always very clear, her explanations help us understand Tai Chi. We feel both relaxed and energised after each class. I highly recommend you give it a go" - Student ERRV
