Life Drawing at Wellington Museum

With art supplies from Gordon Harris. 25th June.

Ever wanted to try your hand at life drawing? Well now is your chance! Join us at Te Waka Huia o Ngā Taonga Tuku Iho Wellington Museum on Sunday 25 June to enjoy an afternoon of tutored life drawing with artist Denise Durkin. A model, refreshments and all materials will be provided – courtesy of the generous donation from our friends at Gordon Harris The Art and Graphic Store.

During these classes, you will explore:

- Fun drawing exercises like contour drawing and gesture that offer an effective way to start drawing the figure
- A focus on real shape, gesture, form and the structure of line figures
- New ways to build your drawing skill

This is a two-hour session, taking place from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. The doors close at 2:00 pm sharp so please ensure you arrive early – we suggest arriving between 1:40 – 1:55 pm. Please note if you arrive after 2:00 pm, you may be unable to enter.

Price
$35.00 – students (with valid ID)
$45.00 – adults

Please note this event is R16 and is a nude live drawing class.

There are limited tickets available, so be sure to get in quick!
