Learn about the Predator Free 2050 goal and what you can do to protect native birds and bats in our city. You'll learn why this work is so important for conservation and biodiversity, and tips and tricks for effective trapping.

Following the presentation, you'll have the opportunity to build a tunnel box to support the predator free movement or build one to take home with a T-Rex trap, for $20.

We host these talks and workshops, 10-11am on the last Wednesday of every month from our Envirocentre in Frankton.

About the facilitator. Ellen Webb has a passion for conservation, fostered by growing up on Waiheke Island. She believes that to ensure we can keep enjoying nature and our environment we have a responsibility to care and protect it. Ellen has a double Major in Zoology, Ecology and a Masters of Wildlife Management from Otago University. She has worked in biosecurity and predator control, with a special interest in working to protect and enhance our avian species.

About Go Eco. As a not-for-profit environment hub, we work towards a vision of healthy environments supported by thriving communities.
