Join us to hear culinary queen and lifelong adventurer Annabel Langbein talk about the books that have shaped her at a special fundraising event for Katherine Mansfield House & Garden.
For the past 30 years, Annabel has been a household name in New Zealand as a much-loved cook and bestselling food writer. She has published over 30 cookbooks and co-produced three seasons of her award-winning television series. Her lighthearted, down-to-earth approach, no-fail recipes, and kitchen tips have earned her a passionate international following. In 2020 she published her must-read memoir, 'Bella: My Life in Food', which is full of stories from her varied and sometimes surprising life, as well as key recipes created with her signature style and flair.
The evening will begin with a glass of Hunter’s Wines’ award-winning MiruMiru™ and delicious canapés. A non-alcoholic option will also be available.
This event is being held to raise funds for our Category 1 Historic Place and writer’s museum in Thorndon, which is open six days a week. We offer an annual programme of events and activities designed to encourage creativity and we host school and tour groups to share the life, literature and legacy of Katherine Mansfield.
