Teddy Bear Hospital Community Day

Teddy Bear Hospital is back for 2023!!! We need your help to spread the word to everyone!!
Once again, we are running 2 events;
- Hunter Center Otago University - 5th August
- Carisbrook School - 16th September

This event open to all families!! It is run by Health Professional students at the Otago University to create a positive association of healthcare from a young age. Our aim is to reduce the fear and anxiety that can be felt when visiting the doctor or dentist.

Our event at the Hunter Center (5th August) is well underway. We have teddy doctors, pharmacists, dentists, nutritionist, nurses, physiotherapists, emergency services and many more working together to create this awesome event!! As well as the teddy doctor and dentist consultations on the day, we also have games, obstacle courses, a mobile x-ray machine, a bouncy castle, food, bubbles, Emergency services and much more!
