Wainuiomata Enchanted Forest

Step into the whimsical world of Wainuiomata’s very own enchanted forest and discover the magic hidden amongst the towering trees of Gums Meadow.

In celebration of Children’s Day, bring along your tamariki for a day of play and imaginative fun! Check out the fairy forest created by some of Wainui’s community and get creative with rock painting and fairy door decorating.

Don’t forget to pack a picnic and your togs so you can cool off in one of the swimming holes along the way.

There will be plenty of other kid-friendly activities such as face painting, nature play, bubbles, entertainment and more!
