Tūhura Otago Museum’s Makerspace is famous for its amazing crafts, and this time we're celebrating Knit Day!

From constellation sewing to yarn monsters, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Set in the beautiful, light-filled space of our Atrium, parents and children can craft together, working with some fantastic, free resources. Bring your friends, grab a coffee, and enjoy.

These self-guided, family-friendly activities are a great way to spend an hour or more and are suitable for all ages. Don’t miss our exciting offers for World Knit in Public Day,from workshops to crafts and more! Come along to this global celebration, have a yarn, and come together in the warmth of Otago Museum to celebrate with Dunedin’s knitting community.
