Two local artists, Therese Boustead and Sandie Brown are holding an exhibition of their beautiful, timeless, original watercolour and oil artwork that celebrates the magic of light. Free entry, and all ages are most welcome.

Venue: Arts Centre, Pūmanawa Community Exhibition Space, Upstairs in the building next to the Arts Centre market carpark, Worcester Blvd.

Dates: Tues 24 - Sun 29 October, 2023

Time: 10am-4pm daily.

At least one of the two artists will be present throughout the day to answer questions and discuss or demonstrate their art. They would love you to seek them out.

Therese has a passion for painting in watercolour. She uses vibrant colour in backgrounds to highlight the elegance, delicacy and fragility of nature, in particular New Zealand's local and native birds.

Sandie’s greatest love is to explore the effect of light as it moves across the canvas in a variety of subject matter, be it still life, landscapes and travel memories, or a furry friend.

In addition to original artwork, the exhibition will have the artist’s work on gift tags, jewellery, fridge magnets, art-print bookmarks, and cards. $1 of every card sold is donated to St John Ambulance. A wonderful opportunity for those Christmas gifts for someone special.

To view some of the artwork, go to the artists' websites: www.tboustead.nz and www.sandiebrown.com.
