Find peace and tranquility while participating in our Sanctuary Yoga sessions this summer.
Meet at the Visitor Centre and take a calming hīkoi/walk up Lake Road to Tūī Terrace in the heart of the valley. Lay out your mats and be led in a hatha yoga session that is uniquely facilitated with a te ao Māori kaupapa.
Our Thursday evening sessions run from 5.30-7.00pm, and our morning sessions on Sundays run from 9.00-11.00am. This experience is outdoors so make sure to dress appropriately. There will be a gentle 15 min walk up and back from the site along an accessible path. In the event of bad weather the session will be moved indoors but may have a short walk out in the valley before hand. These sessions are designed to suit all levels of ability.
If you have your own yoga mat then bring it along, as while Zealandia does have a few to loan out, supplies are limited.
Ts and Cs:
Non-member ticket price includes general admission to the sanctuary. Photos of these sessions may be taken for marketing purposes. If you do not want your photo taken, please advise staff on the day.
