Bad Taste & DBLDBL In CinemaScope

BAD TASTE are joining forces with DBLDBL and VJ CUBEMAN for an evening of music, dance and visual projections at Porridge Watson.

After their musical misadventures traversing the country as part of the Eyegum Scenic Tour, Alphabethead and Young Gho$t are preparing a unique and intimate experience with a two-part series of concept shows alongside Tamaki Makaurau's DBLDBL. The shows in Whanganui and Wellington will feature widescreen visuals curated by the one and only VJ Cubeman. These visuals will draw on the b-movies of the 70s and 80s that warped the duo's young minds and shaped there truly bad taste.

Both BT and DBLDBL had life affirming sets at Camp A Low Hum at the beginning of the year, and have performed at some of the country's most eminent underground festivals, including Twisted Frequency, The Others Way, Newtown Festival, Cuba Dupa and Welcome to Nowhere. If your like Hip Hop highly danceable, heavy and skewed this could be the show for you

Both shows will feature some wonderful musical guests which will be revealed super soon.

There will also be door sales on the night for the spontaneous.
