Barfoot & Thompson Kerikeri Street Party 2024

The Bay of Islands much-loved annual street party returns to Kerikeri town centre this November and is packed with local vineyards, breweries, delicious food and non-stop entertainment across three zones!

After the Kerikeri Half Marathon, the central shopping precinct is closed to traffic and transformed into a vibrant party venue. This year’s event takes place on Saturday 16 November and has been made possible due to the generous funding support of Barfoot & Thompson Kerikeri, One NZ, The Oxford Trust, Northland Inc Regional Events Fund, SEEKA and Black Collar Distillery.

The Barfoot & Thompson Kerikeri Street Party is possibly the biggest street party in New Zealand with over 4000 attendees annually. It brings together all our locally based producers and organisers are looking forward to welcoming our café-owners, restauranteurs, artisan food trucks and beverage makers back to the event! The street will be packed, with 6 Northland vineyards, 2 craft beer breweries, hard iced tea and our brand-new addition of the Black Collar Distillery Cocktail Bar featuring their award-winning spirits. We have a whole heap of delicious food options to choose from with over 20 food stalls plus cafes located within the CBD.

A packed schedule of entertainment is on the menu across 3 different zones, all brought to you by One NZ. Top local cover bands take to the One NZ Main Stage, including the legendary antics of Dogfather and the vibrant rock, reggae and RnB vibes of Kōhia.

DJ VanDeBelle brings his popular French house, Eurogroove and funk mixes to the outrageously fun Holy Roller DJ Zone. The ever-popular Sound Loungers and Thelonious Punk will be hitting the Jazz and Blues Stage, plus dancers and roving street entertainment and more great artists to be announced. One NZ will also have a zone with games and giveaways.

The Barfoot & Thompson Kerikeri Street Party is a fantastic way to unwind if you participated in the Kerikeri Half Marathon and chance to get your friends and whanau together to celebrate! The event has become an iconic night out for Northlanders and visitors to the region.

Tickets are only $10 for 14+ if booked in advance from Eventfinda or The Sound Lounge. This includes the booking fee and a koha to our local charities to support other valuable community projects.

4.45pm - The Old Packhouse Market
5.00pm - The Pioneer Bar, Skippers Lane, Waipapa
Then via Kapiro Road and Landing Road
Drop off at The Turner Centre in town.
9.30pm - Return journey as above

Paihia Return Bus $15 return
5.00pm - Pick up at The Maritime Building, Marsden Road, Paihia Waterfront, Drop off at The Turner Centre
