The most RAD kids' mountain biking event is back in Wellington for 2024!

Get ready for an epic morning of racing (the friendly type), games, BBQ, spot prizes and stoke! We will have 4 different courses (two of which will be timed) on offer to cater to all abilities of riders aged between 2 and 13 years-old. This event is brought to you in collaboration with our awesome Assistant Instructors part of WORD Youth Leadership and Events Team!

Event Timeline

8.30-9:30am- Check in and on-the-day registrations at the rego tent in the main carpark at the end of Waiu street

9.30am- Event Briefing (kids and parents to attend)

10am- Race START!
Race order:
-Black Course (Timed - 10-13 year olds Advanced)
-Blue Course (Timed - 10-12 year olds Intermediate loop)
-Green Course (age: 7-9 year olds)
-Orange Course (age 2-6 years-old parents allowed to walk/ride with this group)

12pm (ish)- Prize Giving!

Pricing
Individual- $20 online ($25 cash on the day)
Family (3 kids)- $50 online ($60 cash on the day)
Wainuiomata residents- $5!

Volunteer Marshals Wanted!
We are on the look out for some cheery people to marshal our favourite event of the year. We have positions available on foot or bike, yay! Knowing the trails is a bonus, but not necessary. You will be supplied with a sweet orange vest and paid in smiles, food, and cheering.
8.30am- Meet at Wainuiomata main car park for marshal briefing
11:30am- Finished! Go treat yourself to a couple of sizzles!
